Center of excellence for Electronic Design Automation

The Electronic Design Automation CoE was inaugurated by our beloved chairman on 14th December 2018. The CoE was established to create a common platform between the Department of EEE, St. JOSEPH’S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY and CADD LABS. The CoE will facilitate CADD LABS to make use of the laboratory and library facilities of St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, for their R&D and testing works, on mutual consultation.

CADD LABS can send their staff as delegates to attend Conferences/Seminars/Symposia etc., including Video Conferences conducted by St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, Chennai at free of cost. CADD LABS can assign students projects, relevant to their industry, suitable to the researchers/engineers and experts of St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology to carry out the same in the Industry / Institution as part of the academic requirements of the students, on mutual consultation.

CADD LABS to permit the students and staff of the college to undergo practical training for short periods, on mutual consultation, for the growth of students. As an initiative, two days workshop on Auto CAD - Electrical was conducted by the CADD Labs on 14-02-19 and 15-02-19.
