St. Joseph’s Robo Club involves the student community who derive pleasure in creating robots that may even be potent to work without human intervention. It was created with the purpose of developing interest in the field of robotics among the student community. The Club provides workspace, tools, and guidance to the interested students apart from taking up specific projects. It also provides an opportunity for students to participate in National and International level competitions.
Robotics technology influences every aspect of human life. Robotics has the potential to positively transform lives, work practices, raise efficiency, safety levels and provide enhanced levels of service. This club cultivates the interest of learning Robotics among the students and to make them update with the current technologies in Robotics & Automation. St. Joseph’s Robo Club largely benefits the student community and supports innovation happening within the campus by conducting hands-on training programs. The ultimate goal is to expertise the students in Robotics & Automation and to develop projects. The Robo Club Members developed projects like Edge Detecting Bot, Line follower Bot, Self-Balancing bot, Serving Bot and Entertaining Bot.
