The Department of Mathematics is one of the pioneering departments of the institution that offers assistance to Engineering and Technology courses of the College. It provides a good mathematical foundation since the subject is considered to be the backbone of engineering courses.

The Department was established in 2011 and over the years it has evolved into a Department that serves as a centre for Applied Mathematics. This department comprises of 10 faculty members with 6 Doctorates and 3 faculties are pursuing Ph.D to make sure the best education is offered to the students. The dedicated staff members keep themselves abreast of the latest trends in mathematical applications by taking part in workshops, Conferences and Symposiums conducted by various colleges and research institutions. The Students are motivated to participate and present papers in Conferences, Symposiums, and Seminars conducted by various colleges. Apart from emphasizing on consistent and good academic performance, the department encourages participation in the curricular and extracurricular activities to bring out the talents of the students. The Department organizes Mathematics Club, which aims at making mathematics a fun to learn. It acts as a forum for budding mathematicians, providing them a unique platform to win laurels in the field. The Department also organizes a National Level Symposium called "MATHIESTA" every year, in which students from different colleges take part.

English is a global language. The effective communication skill in English, therefore, becomes mandatory. The Department of English has highly qualified staff members who have both fluency and accuracy in English communication. The faculty members have qualified themselves in English Language and Literature from the well reputed institutions all over India. The department has been provided with a language lab with a good learning atmosphere. The students are trained in speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The department also offers courses for B.E. and B.Tech. students like, ‘Communicative English’ and ‘Technical English’ for the first year students, ‘Interpersonal Skills/ Listening and Speaking’ in the second year and ‘Professional Communication’ to the third year students as cited in the curriculum of Anna University. In addition to the regular courses, the department also enhances the communication skill and creativity of the students by organizing “English Club”. Students are also motivated to participate in the events conducted in other colleges.

Our Physics and Chemistry department staff are very much dedicated, experienced and willing to work hard and smart. Togetherness is the special quality of our staff. We all work together to develop overall personality of our students. We strive hard to inculcate high morale and professional standards among our students. We train our students to excel in academics, co-curricular activities, extra curricular activities and to lead a highly disciplined and organised life
