At St. Joseph's we live by our holy grail which is to provide students with the best of all the resources and skills they need to clinch the dream job of theirs. How do we do this? We build a victory road to reach their career by focusing on the 3S – Survival, Sustainability and Success. To build this indestructible road to our student's success we have a separate department solely devoted to this task known as the Centre of placement and training. It has been functioning untiringly towards the benefits of the students to strike out a difference in the corporate world. Our college provides a friendly and challenging environment in order to meet the demands of today's competitive world. As the candle spreads, and the mirror reflects the light, the department spreads the light to reflect the dreams and goals of the students. Instead of waiting for opportunities, we try to make sure that these opportunities knock at your door.
Objectives
- It nurtures Industry Interaction and moulds and mentors the students to be fit for the placement.
- It also provides job opportunities by bringing companies for campus recruitment to all eligible students of the final year.
- It enhances and employs current practical and technical knowledge of the students. Added to that, it makes the students plug and play by imparting soft skills and employability skills.
- It networks with Industries and other Professional Societies to enter into MOUs and also maintains Overseas Relations of the Institution to handle issues like Student Recruitment etc.
