Student Chapter IEEE Student Branch (Branch Code: STB16181) formation was approved on 09th September 2014 and inauguration was held on 01st October 2014 at our premises by Dr. M. A. Atmanand, Chairman, IEEE Madras sectionand Director National Institute of Ocean Technology. Student Branch gives opportunity for the students to explore meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field. Mr.R.Jayapragash, Branch Counselor of IEEE Student Branch participated in the Student Branch Officer’s Meet and IEEE Madras Section expresses appreciation to St.Joseph’s Institute of Technology for organizing activities towards the advancement of IEEE and Engineering Profession during the year 2015.The Student Branch is classified as Grade C.IEEE Madras section has funded amount of Rs.17,282 to student branch.
