About Our Society

St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology IEEE EMBS has around 16 members from ECE.The IEEE RAS chapter’s activities were inaugurated on 28.07.2016 at 10.30 AM. Dr.B.Babu Manoharan, Chairman, St.Joseph's Group of Institutions; Mr.B.Sashi Sekar, Director and Dr.P.Ravichandran, Principal, dignified the event.

• The EMBS field of interest is the development and application of engineering concepts and methods to biology, medicine and health sciences to provide effective solutions to biological, medical and healthcare problems.
• • The field encompasses the development of mathematical theories, physical, biological and chemical principles, computational models and algorithms, devices and systems for clinical, industrial and educational applications.
