WORKSHOP
The Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering organized a
workshop on “Image Processing & AI
Essentials using MATLAB” on 10th April 2025.
The workshop was conducted from 9:40 AM
to 3:00 PM. Mr. Mukundh Yadav, an intern at
MATLAB from ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd.,
Chennai, served as the resource person.
The session aimed to introduce students to
the core principles of MATLAB and Simulink.
Participants were trained on foundational
skills to effectively use MATLAB for image
processing and AI applications in
engineering. The workshop covered topics
related to real-world applications in
healthcare, engineering, technology, and
research.
Alumni Talk
The Department of Information Technology at St.
Joseph’s College of Engineering organized an
insightful Alumni Interaction Session on the topic
“From Student to Software Engineer: Navigating the
Transition with Confidence and Clarity” on April 5,
2025. The guest speaker for the session was Mr.
Haridharan K A, an esteemed alumnus of the 2018–
2022 batch of the IT Department.
