STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Department of ECE secured second place in the National Level
Entrepreneurship Festival, BECREZ Carnival ‘25 - Season 2. The event
was held on April 7th and 8th, 2025 at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent
Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. The team, consisting
of Harish Kumar A, Harish V, Karishma M, and Prajith Raj K. Their
project titled “AI Powered Public Information System for Smart
Shopping” stood out for its innovation and practicality. The team
was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 along with educational
credits worth Rs. 24,000 from EdAthena.
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
participated in the HackEra’25 national-level hackathon. The event
was held for 24 hours from April 11th to 12th, 2025, at Sathyabama
Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. The team secured
third place in the competition. The students who represented our
institution were Shriram S, SenthilKumar D, Priyadharshini S, Kavya
S, and Sivaprkasam T, all from III ECE. Their project was titled
“HydraX - AI Enabled Thermax Bottle.” The hackathon involved
participants from various institutions across India.
