Mock Interview




       The  Department  of  Management
       Studies  at  St.  Joseph’s  Institute
       of  Technology  organized  a  Mock
       Interview  Session  for  the  first-
       year  MBA  students  (Batch  2024–
       2026)  as  part  of  its  student
       development            initiatives.        The
       event  was  conducted  with  the
       objective  of  preparing  students
       for       real-world          recruitment
       processes  and  equipping  them
       with  the  necessary  interview
       skills and confidence.
                                                              The  interviews  were  conducted  by  a
                                                              panel  of  esteemed  professionals
                                                              from various reputed organizations:
                                                              Panel  1:  Ms.  Seetha  Nayagam,  HR  –
                                                              Talent Acquisition
                                                              Panel  2:  Ms.  Priyadharshini,  Senior
                                                              Associate, WNS
                                                              Panel         3:      Mr.       Sabarinathan,
                                                              Chargeback          Analyst,       Chargeback
                                                              Guru Pvt. Ltd.
                                                              Each      panelist       brought       in    their
                                                              industry  insights  and  expertise  to
                                                              provide students with a realistic and
                                                              enriching interview experience.


       Session Highlights
       The  session  was  divided  into  three
       panels,  with  students  allocated  to
       each panel in rotation.
       Interviews  were  conducted  in  a
       professional  setting,  simulating  an
       actual          corporate             interview
       environment.
       Panellists       assessed        students        on
       parameters  such  as  body  language,
       subject        knowledge,          clarity       of
       thought,              confidence,              and
       communication skills.
       Constructive  feedback  was  provided
       to each student to help them identify
       their     strengths         and     areas       for
       improvement.
       Students  gained  valuable  insights
       into  industry  expectations,  resume
       preparation,  and  commonly  asked
       interview questions.



     The  students  found  the  session  highly  beneficial  and  appreciated  the
     opportunity to interact with industry professionals. Many students expressed
     that the experience helped them gain clarity on their career goals and boosted
     their confidence to face actual interviews.
