About Us
St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, located on OMR, Chennai, is a premier institution established in 2011 with a vision to provide quality technical education and nurture innovation.
Affiliated with Anna University and approved by AICTE the college has rapidly gained recognition for its academic excellence and infrastructure.
Since its inception, the institute offered undergraduate programs B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), B.E. Mechanical Engineering, and B.Tech. Information Technology (IT).
Demonstrating a strong commitment to quality, these programs achieved NBA accreditation in 2017, within just six years of its establishment—underscoring the institution’s focus on academic standards and continuous improvement.
To keep pace with the evolving technological landscape, B.Tech. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science was introduced in 2021, B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), was added in 2024 to prepare students for emerging cybersecurity challenges. The latest addition to the curriculum is B.E. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was launched in 2025, further strengthening the institute’s focus on cutting-edge technologies
Recognizing the growing demand for business leadership, the institute also launched its MBA program in 2022, offering students a strong foundation in management and entrepreneurship.
