Jebastine Sunderraj, Assistant Professor
from the Department of Mechanical
Engineering at St. Joseph's Institute of
Technology, conducted a significant
industry visit to SUSPA Pneumatics India
Pvt Ltd and Teklight Components Pvt
Ltd in Chennai. This initiative, part of the
college's robust Industry Institute
Interaction program, aimed to
strengthen ties between academia and
the manufacturing sector. Following
productive discussions, both companies
committed to enhancing student
development through several key
initiatives, including facilitating industrial
visits, delivering guest lectures, and
offering student internships.
Furthermore, the collaboration is set to
expand through future Memorandums of
Understanding (MOU) and placement
opportunities, ensuring that students are
well-equipped with industry-relevant
skills and professional pathways.
