3 Dr P. Jayaprakash, Associate Professor, from the Department of
Physics has presented a paper entitled "An Extensive
Investigation of the Growth, spectral, optical, electrical, thermal

and nonlinear optical properties of L-Glutamic Acid Zinc Sulphate

Single Crystal" at National Conference on Emerging Trends in

Functional Materials Chemistry (NCETFMC'26), organized by

Department of Chemistry, SSN College of Engineering on 06.03.26

4 Dr. P.G.V. Ramesh, Professor and Head of department of ECE
successfully presented a research paper titled “ANN Based

Speech Processing Methodology for Speech Stammered
Detection Application” at the 3rd International Conference on

Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS

2026). The conference was organized by Yeshwantrao Chavan

College of Engineering on 6th–7th March 2026. The event was

conducted in association with the IEEE Maharashtra Section,
bringing together researchers and academicians from various

institutions.

5 The Department of Mechanical Engineering proudly congratulates
Dr. S. Prathap Singh, Assistant Professor, for his contribution as a

Jury Member for SDGthon 2K26. This prestigious event was a 24-

hour fully online hackathon held on March 6th and 7th, 2026, and

was organized by the SDG Cell and IEEE Student Branch of

Panimalar Engineering College, Chennai. Dr. Singh’s role as a

judge in this innovation-focused competition highlights the
department's active engagement with the academic community

and its commitment to supporting sustainable development goals

through technological excellence.
