Achievements

The Department of Information Technology extends its heartfelt congratulations
to the students who secured the Top Performer position among 60 teams and
won a cash prize of ₹3,000 for their project titled “AI-Based Rapid Damage
Detection & Estimation.” The Management, Principal, Faculty Members, and

Students proudly appreciate this remarkable achievement, which was earned at
the Blaze A Trail 3.0 – III Year Internal Hackathon 2026, held on 17th and 18th

February 2026 at St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions, OMR, Chennai. The winning
team from IT/III comprises Manikandan M, Mary Lavanitha Sunder, Isaac Paul S,
and Lakshmanan E, under the guidance of their mentor, Mr. A Najeem Dheen,

Assistant Professor, Department of IT.

Technology proudly announces the
Cultural Results for II Year students. In the

Composing Lyrics competition, Bharani
Chandran and Aravind Kumar secured the
First Prize. Akshaya V won the Third Prize
in Drawing (Pencil) and also secured the

Third Prize in Creative Writing – English. In
the Oratorical – English competition,

Keerthana K achieved the First Prize, while
Jeeva Shakthi L secured the Second Prize.
