I Year Cyber Security students have brought laurels to the
department by securing the second prize at the EDGEX-12H
Hackathon, organized by SIMATS Engineering College, Chennai.
Competing against 76 shortlisted teams in this intense 12-hour
challenge, the team walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 3000 for
their innovative project, the SMG women safety device. The
winning team comprised Harshini V and Kirraneashwar V from I
Year Cyber Security, along with Mohan Raj C from II Year CSE and
Pratose Raam A R from II Year ECE. .
