The Department of ECE & EEE at St.
Joseph’s Institute of Technology proudly
congratulates the student team HEALINK
for securing First Place in the Paper Pitch
competition held at KPR Institute of
Engineering and Technology on 20 February
2026. Competing under the Healthcare
theme, the team presented an innovative
paper titled “Maternity Monitoring and
Smart Infusion Kit for Rural Areas,” which
was highly appreciated for its social
relevance and technical depth.
The team, comprising A. Deepak Kumaran (III ECE), Subiraj S. L. (III ECE), and Aravind
Krishna (III EEE), received a cash prize of ₹2,000, bringing pride and recognition to the
department and the institution for their excellence in research and innovation.
