organized a webinar on “Generative AI vs Agentic AI Tools & Real-World Use

Cases” exclusively for III Year IT students on 28-02-2026 from 10.00 AM to

11.00 AM through Google Meet. The session was delivered by Ms.
Mohanasundari Ramalingam, Assistant Consultant at Tata Consultancy

Services (TCS). The webinar aimed to provide students with insights into the

differences between Generative AI and Agentic AI tools, along with their

practical applications in real-world scenarios. The event served as a valuable

platform for students to enhance their knowledge of emerging AI technologies
and understand their industry relevance.

The Department of Information Technology is organizing a

Placement Talk on “Interview Preparation and Key

Questions” exclusively for III Year IT students. The session
will be conducted online on 28-02-2026 and 01-03-2026

from 3.00 PM to 4.30 PM. The resource person for the

session is Mr. R. Dhakshana Moorthy, Programmer Analyst at
Cognizant, Chennai. The programme aims to guide students

on effective interview preparation strategies and important

questions to enhance their placement readiness.
