The Department of Computer Science and

Engineering, in collaboration with the IEEE

Computer Society and Institution’s Innovation
Council (IIC) of St. Joseph’s Institute of

Technology, organized the “Imagination Meets

Reality” Photo Contest. With 50 participants

showcasing their photography skills, entries
were judged on creativity, originality, technical

quality, and relevance to the theme. The

winners were Sakthi Lakshman, Rithik V
Kumar, and Sherly W from the II-year CSE

Department.The program was coordinated by

Dr. J. Dafni Rose, Head of Department & IEEE
CS Chapter Advisor, Mr. Mithun P, Assistant

Professor & IEEE Coordinator CSE.

The Department of Computer Science and

Engineering, in association with The

Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI]
student chapter, conducted a hands-on

session on Ethical Hacking using “Burp

Suite” for II-year IEI members on 14-02-
2025. The session aimed to introduce

students to ethical hacking principles,

cybersecurity awareness, and responsible

hacking practices. Participants gained
practical experience in penetration

testing, identifying security

vulnerabilities, and mitigating potential

risks in computer systems and networks.
