Cognizant Students Club
The aim of Cognizant students club is to facilitate continuous grooming of the students to meet corporate expectations.This also provides our students with an opportunity to strengthen their skills & sharpen their knowledge.
The objectives of the club:

• To provide opportunity, to gain industry knowledge by frequent interaction with industry experts.
• To provide communication and other personality development training for holistic development of the student.
• To provide exposure in latest technological advancements in IT Industry.
• To offer mini projects to implement the theoretical concepts and knowledge possessed by them.
• To get mentorship from industry representatives and to groom themselves for the corporate world.
• Also develop team building, leadership and interpersonal skills by participating in activities with students from other colleges.

 The club activities include communication & personality development, Exposure to latest technologies, mini projects, Coding test, Bug Identification, mentorship, team building, technical guest lectures. Teams from various colleges will be given tasks and the college who have been actively involved in the club activities will be motivated by providing exciting prizes for the best performing college, team, star performer & best mentor.

Cognizant Digital Nurture – Gen C Program 

Cognizant Digital Nurture – Gen C Program is an initiative by Cognizant, aimed at nurturing digital talent among college graduates.
This program provides an opportunity for aspiring digital professionals to gain valuable skills, industry exposure, and mentorship essential for a successful career in the digital space. It aims to bridge the gap between education and industry requirements, nurturing a skilled workforce for the digital era.

 Cognizant CAFÉ Initiative

The goal of the Cognizant CAFÉ initiative is to cultivate students’ coding skills through the Cognizant Academia Foundry Ecosystem (CAFÉ). The results have been exceptional, providing our students with a ground-breaking enterprise-level coding learning experience.

10+ proficient students and 2 committed faculty members from St Joseph’s Institute of Technology collaborated to produce 2 components, together, they tackled real-world scenarios, gaining valuable insights into crafting secure and high-quality code.

2 pods with 5 students, 1 student lead and 1 mentor in each pod working on to develop components using ReactJS, JSON, Core .NET, Python, Azure for four different use cases

 AMCAT – Aspiring Mind’s Computer Adaptive Test
The AMCAT is a computer adaptive test which measures the student’s proficiency on critical areas like communication skills, logical reasoning, quantitative skills and job specific domain skills.
AMCAT’s comprehensive feedback report provides information to the students identify their strength and areas where they are deficient in, so that they can work on to improve in their highlighted areas or prepare them for specific industries/jobs where their strengths are best suited.

IT RefresherTraining by Industry Professionals
An IT Refresher Course is intended to provide a platform as well as resources to help students understand the recent advancements to the knowledge base in the subject through experts in various fields, which would help them refresh & enhance their knowledge base.

Mock Interviews by Industry Professionals & Alumni
As with every skill you’ve ever learned, you have to learn the technique and then practice, a mock Interview provides you with an opportunity to practice your interviewing skills in an environment similar to an actual interview. Mock Interviews are a great opportunity to become familiar with interview questions and interview etiquette. This will not only help you refine yourself, but it will also allow you to get valuable feedback

INFOCEPTS
Infocepts have collaborated with  St Joseph’s Institute of Technology for their Corporae Social Responsibility initiative names “Infocepts Scholarship (BE Program)” for the students of B.E/B.Tech – 1st Year / 2nd Year Computer Science course begining from the Academic Session 2022 -23. This MOU is for providing scholarship to the needy students for the Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology Program.

RBG.ai
St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions has signed an MOU with RBG.AI, a team of mathematicians focused on software engineering, to establish an Artificial Intelligence Research division. RBG.AI aims to democratize disruptive AI solutions, specializing in structuring unstructured data across diverse domains. They prioritize upskilling workforces for AI projects, emphasizing adaptability to AI-driven digital transformation. RBG.AI implements an experiential learning approach, guiding through Learn-Experiment-Share-Seek cycles, bridging the gap between AI research and business needs. Their goal is to empower multidisciplinary expertise in Text-Voice-Vision-Numeric Analytics, reducing uncertainties in AI solutions for efficient workforce navigation.

An India’s first AI-focused technology business incubator, ‘AI Venture Factory’ at St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions on November 8, 2023.

The incubator offers extensive support to start-ups, encompassing seed funding, research and grant allocations, access to seasoned mentors, strategy refinement for potential clients, and the broadening of global reach. This initiative led by HaiVE, an AI service platform, is designed to nurture emerging AI-driven ventures within the campus. St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions.
