WORKSHOP
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, St. Joseph’s Institute
of Technology, organized a three-day Student Workshop for III Year CSE
students from 25–02–2026 to 27–02–2026, with 252 participants. The
programme covered emerging technologies including Spring Boot, Cloud
Computing (AWS), Prompt Engineering, and Machine Learning.
Ms. R. Rajeshwari delivered hands-on training on Spring Boot, guiding
students in building RESTful APIs and understanding microservices
architecture.
Mr. Balaji introduced Cloud Computing concepts, service and deployment
models, and real-time cloud deployment practices.
Mr. Giri conducted an engaging session on Prompt Engineering, focusing on
structured prompting techniques and ethical AI usage using OpenAI tools.
Mr. Shalom Albert explained core Machine Learning concepts, including
supervised and unsupervised learning workflows.
The workshop emphasized practical implementation, industry exposure,
and real-world applications.
