Employability Enhancement Course
SD0108-Fundamental Concepts of Large Language Models
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at St. Joseph’s Institute of
Technology launched the Employability Enhancement Course – SD0108: Fundamental
Concepts of Large Language Models in collaboration with Edinz Tech Pvt. Ltd. Held from
March 2–6, 2026, the program is designed for third-year ADS students to explore Generative
AI foundations, Transformer architectures, Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning, and Retrieval
Augmented Generation. Guided by industry experts Aravind S and Venkatasubramanian V,
the course provides students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience to develop
real-world applications and strengthen their readiness for future careers in AI.
