Innovators- Outreach

Program

Department of Mechanical Engineering at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering (An

Autonomous Institution, Permanently Affiliated to Anna University) organized an
impactful Outreach Program focused on the "Basic of IoT Projects," as featured in

"Poster.png". Held on June 19, 2026, at the Evergreen Matriculation School in Thiruporur,
the initiative was conducted in close association with The Institution of Engineers (India),

Kanchepuram Local Center. The workshop was spearheaded by an expert delegation from
the college, including Assistant Professors Dr. D. Arthur Jebastine Sunderraj, Mr. S. A.

Muhammed Abraar, and Mr. D. Murali, alongside IV-Year student Mr. V. Thirumalazagan
and 2026 passed-out alumnus Mr. P. Hari haran. Through interactive sessions and live

demonstrations, the team introduced young school minds to the fundamental concepts of
the Internet of Things (IoT), fostering a spirit of curiosity and engineering innovation at

the grassroots level.
