The Department of Information Technology in association with the ACM
Student Branch Chapter, organized a Guest Lecture on “Smart on Skin:
Transforming Lives through Wearable Computing” exclusively for II Year IT
students on 04 March 2026 from 8.00 AM to 9.30 AM at AV Hall 1. The session
was delivered by Dr. V. Noel Jeygar Robert, Assistant Professor (Senior
Grade–I), School of Computer Science and Engineering, VIT University,
Chennai. The objective of the lecture was to introduce students to the
emerging field of wearable computing and its impact on improving human
life through smart technologies.
The Department of Information Technology
organized an online Placement Talk on
“Interview Preparation and Key Questions”
exclusively for III Year IT students on 28 February
2026 and 01 March 2026 from 3.00 PM to 4.30
PM. The session was delivered by Mr. R.
Dhakshana Moorthy, Programmer Analyst at
Cognizant, Chennai. The objective of the talk
was to help students understand the strategies
and techniques required to successfully face
placement interviews.
