GUEST LECTURE
On 19 February 2026, the Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Role of Electrical
Engineers in the Automotive Industry: Technologies, Skills and Career
Opportunities” for III year students. The session was delivered by Mr.
Thanu S, Director for ASCM, Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt. Ltd.
He shared insights from his extensive industry experience,
highlighting emerging automotive technologies, automation,
electric vehicles, and supply chain innovations. He emphasized the
technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability required
to succeed in the automotive sector. The lecture provided valuable
guidance on career opportunities and industry expectations,
motivating students to prepare for future challenges.
