The Department of Information Technology
in association with the IEEE Student Branch

Chapter, organized a guest lecture on 20th
February 2026 at AV Hall-1 from 11:00 a.m.
to 12:00 noon. The session was delivered by

Ms. Vaibhavadarani M on the topic
“Building a Future-Ready IT Career: What to

Focus on in College in the Age of AI.” The
lecture was exclusively conducted for
second-year IT students with the objective
of guiding them on how to prepare

effectively for the rapidly evolving IT
industry influenced by Artificial Intelligence.

Department of Information Technology in

collaboration with the IEEE Systems, Man
and Cybernetics Society, organized a
technical debate titled “SYNERGY: A

Technical Debate on Man-Machine
Systems” on 12 February at the IDEA Lab.
The event, scheduled at 10:00 AM, brought

together students to engage in thought-
provoking discussions on the evolving

relationship between humans and
machines, highlighting both opportunities
and challenges in modern technological
systems.
