The Department of Mechanical Engineering
is proud to announce that its III-year students

have secured third prize in a Paper
Presentation. The achievement took place at
MED-XPLORE’26, a National Level Technical

Symposium organized by the Agni College of
Technology during AGNI FEST 2026. The

winning team, consisting of E. Kaviya,
Thirumalazagan V, and Shyam Siva M, was
awarded a cash prize of ₹3000 for their

technical excellence and presentation skills.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering
continues its legacy of excellence as its

students secured multiple top positions at
MECHRAZZ '26. This National Level
Technical Symposium, held as part of AGNI

FEST 2026 on February 14th, was organized
by the Agni College of Technology, Chennai.

In a display of technical prowess, the II-year
team of Harris Marshal I and Pradeep Balaji
B V secured the first prize in the Technical

Connection event.

Fiber Laser Welded Dissimilar Aisi 316 – Aisi 410

Stainless Steel Joints” under the guidance of Mr A
Sathish Kumar, in the 2nd International Conference

on Processing and Performance of Materials
(ICPPM – 26) organized by the Department of
Mechanical Engineering, Sri Sivasubramaniya
