ALUMNI TALK
Department of Information Technology, organized an Alumni Talk exclusively for third-year
IT students on 14 February 2026. The session, titled “Step-by-Step Guide to Crack
Blackstraw Technologies”, was delivered online by Mr. E. Janaranjan, Software Engineer
at Blackstraw.ai, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM via Google Meet. The talk aimed to provide
students with practical insights and strategies for successfully preparing for opportunities
at Blackstraw Technologies, drawing from the speaker’s own professional experience.
Dr. K. Vijayakumar, Member – SAC, IEEE Madras Section and Head of the Department of
Information Technology, provided a dedicated session at the IEEE MAS POCO @ SSN
programme, which was successfully organized at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of
Engineering (SSNCE), Kalavakkam, Chennai. The session focused on the IEEE MAS
Conference Application Submission Process and the IEEE MAS Scholar Submit Portal, and
was jointly handled along with Dr. S. Radha, Secretary, IEEE Madras Section. They
explained in detail the step-by-step procedure for submitting conference applications,
the required documentation, approval workflows, and guidelines to ensure compliance
with IEEE standards.
