IEEE CHAPTER INAUGURATION CEREMONY
The Department of Information Technology at St. Joseph’s Institute of
Technology, OMR, Chennai, organized the IEEE Student Chapter
Inauguration Ceremony 2026 on 04 March 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
The event marked the formal inauguration of three IEEE student chapters:
the IEEE Information Theory Student Chapter, IEEE Systems, Man and
Cybernetics (SMC) Student Chapter, and the IEEE Circuits and Systems
(CAS) Student Chapter. The ceremony aimed to promote technical
innovation, research activities, and professional development among
students through active participation in IEEE initiatives.
