Faculty Achievements
1 Dr. G. S. Uthayakumar, Associate Professor from the Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chair of the IEEE Electron
Devices Society (EDS), Madras Section, inaugurated the IEEE EDS
Student Chapter at the Department of ECE, Rajalakshmi Institute of
Technology. The inaugural session highlighted the significance of IEEE
EDS in fostering innovation, research, and professional development in
the field of electron devices. Students gained valuable insights into
emerging technologies, research opportunities, and the benefits of
active participation in IEEE professional societies.
2 Dr. M. Senthil Murugan, Associate Professor from the Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering, has been awarded the
Reviewer Certificate by the prestigious Journal of Network and

Computer Applications (Elsevier). The recognition was conferred for
completing four journal reviews between March 2025 and July 2026. This

achievement highlights his valuable contribution to the peer-review

process and academic research community. The honour reflects the

department’s commitment to research excellence and scholarly

engagement.

3 Dr. M. Senthil Murugan, Associate Professor in the Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering, has been recognized with a

Reviewer Certificate by the prestigious Internet of Things journal
(Elsevier). The award acknowledges his valuable peer-review

contribution for a manuscript reviewed in July 2026. His recognition

reflects his expertise and commitment to advancing high-quality
