SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM
Dr. G.S Uthayakumar, Associate Professor from the Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering, participated in a School Outreach Programme conducted at

Government Boys Higher Secondary School and Government Girls Higher Secondary School,
Podaturpet, on 18 July 2026. The programme engaged 573 students of Classes XI and XII,
creating awareness about engineering education, emerging technologies, and career
opportunities in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Through interactive sessions,

students were encouraged to develop scientific thinking, innovation, and problem-solving
skills. The initiative reflects the institution's commitment to community outreach and inspiring

the next generation of engineers.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY

The Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering organized a

Career Development Activity for the
2025–2029 batch on 25 July 2026,
focusing on ATS-Based Resume Review &

Optimization and Group Discussion skills.
The session provided practical guidance
on building ATS-friendly resumes,

improving communication, and
enhancing interview readiness. Students

actively participated in interactive
discussions and hands-on activities led
by experts and alumni. The programme
strengthened their confidence,

professional presentation skills, and
overall employability.
