24-Hour AI Hackathon.

Their project, “GenAI Agent for

Universal, Dimension-Based

Data Quality Scoring,”

addressed real-world FinTech

challenges and showcased
their technical expertise and

innovation. The hackathon was

held on 4–5 January 2026 as

part of Shaastra 2026 at IIT

Madras.

Sandhiya G., Vishwa V., and

Shyamnath A. B. from Department of

IT, securing a Top 12 position in
AlgoUtsav 3.0, conducted by the

Algorithmic and Programming

Society, NIT Rourkela.
Competing against over 2,500 teams

nationwide, they advanced to the

finals with a Top 26 ranking and went
on to solve three challenging

problems among 80+ finalist teams.
Their outstanding performance

reflects strong problem-solving skills,

brings pride to the institution, and
inspires fellow students.
