12 Mr. J. Bino, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, served as a
Resource Person for the Skilling Program held at the AICTE–IDEA Lab,
R.M.K. College of Engineering and Technology on 31st January 2026.
He delivered an expert session on “Introduction to Internet of Things
(IoT)” with a focus on practical applications and hands-on learning.
13 Dr. C. Mohan, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, also served as a
Resource Person for the Skilling Program conducted at the AICTE–
IDEA Lab, R.M.K. College of Engineering and Technology on 31st
January 2026. He handled a technical session on “PCB Design Using
CAD,” highlighting design principles and practical workflow.
14 Dr. R. Kangeyan, Assistant Professor at St. Joseph’s Institute of
Technology (Autonomous), OMR, has successfully completed a Faculty
Development Program under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL)
Academy, New Delhi. The FDP, titled “Quantum Communication:
Recent Progress and Future Research Direction,” was conducted at the
National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, from 19 to 24 January
2026.
15 Mr. D. Suresh, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, St. Joseph’s
Institute of Technology, Chennai, presented a peer-reviewed research
paper at the 5th International Conference on Innovative Computing,
Intelligent Communication and Smart Electrical Systems (ICSES 2026).
The paper, titled “IoT Based Real-Time Smart Parking Slot Detection
and Reservation System with RFID and Sensor-Based Integration,”
showcased an innovative approach to smart parking solutions. The
conference was held on 29th–30th January 2026 at St. Joseph’s
Institute of Technology and was technically sponsored by IEEE. His
presentation highlighted the practical integration of IoT, RFID, and
sensor technologies for real-time applications.
