ONE-DAY WORKSHOP
Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with The Institution of
Engineers (India), Kanchepuram Local Centre, hosted a one-day workshop
titled "Sustainable Maritime Innovations" on April 10, 2026, in observance of
National Maritime Day 2026. this event took place at AV Hall – II on the OMR,
Chennai campus. The workshop featured Mr. R. Joshua Solomon, Senior
Executive of Procurement at Synergy Marine Pvt. Ltd., as the guest speaker.
The program was coordinated by faculty members Dr. D. Elil Raja, Dr. D. Arthur
Jebastine Sunderraj, and Mr. A. Sathish Kumar.
