BLENDER MODELLING CHALLENGE

The Department of CSE, St.Joseph’s Institute of Technology has organized
a creative event titled “Blender Modelling Challenge” on 09.10.2025 from

11.30 AM to 1.00 PM at Room No. 70 for II-year GLUG Club members. The

event encouraged students to explore open-source 3D design using
Blender. A total of 34 participants showcased innovative 3D models on

themes like Tech in 3D and Future Technology. The event was coordinated
by Dr. Sai Ramesh, Mrs. G. Smilarubavathy, and Mrs. Gowri, and judged by

Mrs. S. M. Keerthana, St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, Chennai.

Winners: Neon Spark – Rahul Mayan, Melbin Milton; Innovison – Netra,
Ragavi; Spark Surge – Vinodharsini, Sherya, Silviya & Blazers – Maha Angel

M, Loshini, Praveena.
Students gained valuable hands-on exposure to 3D modelling, improved

creative and design skills, and learned the importance of open-source

innovation through this engaging competition.
