EEC COURSE

(EMPLOYABILITY ENHANCEMENT COURSE)

The Department of Information Technology successfully organized a series of
Extra Elective Courses (EEC) for the benefit of undergraduate students,

aimed at enhancing their technical knowledge and hands-on experience in
emerging technologies. These courses were conducted over five days, from
October 6 to October 10, 2025, across different venues within the IT and CSE

departments.

The first, SD0101 – Infosec Immersion, held in CSE Lab 3, provided an in-

depth introduction to Information Security concepts, tools, and practical
strategies. Students gained valuable hands-on experience in areas such as
cryptography, ethical hacking fundamentals, and security protocols. The

second course, SD0105 – Robotics and IoT, AI, conducted in CSE Lab 2,
introduced students to the integration of Robotics with IoT and Artificial
Intelligence. The sessions involved practical work with sensors, actuators,

microcontrollers, and basic AI algorithms for controlling robotic systems. The
third course, SD0107 – Web Development Using React JS, SQL & MongoDB,
was organized in IT Lab 3 specifically for III Year IT students, and was

handled by Mr. Hemchander (Aptitude GuruHem).
