Industrial Visit to Microsoft Reactor, Bengaluru

The students of St. Joseph's College of Engineering and St.
Joseph's Institute of Technology had an unforgettable experience
during their industrial visit to Microsoft Reactor Bengaluru on 3rd
January 2025. Organized by the Microsoft Learn Students
Community (MLSC), the visit offered a fascinating glimpse into the
future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative real-
world applications. This exclusive industrial visit was arranged by
Microsoft specifically for the students of St. Joseph's Group of
Institutions.
With 47 enthusiastic students and 3 dedicated faculty members,
the day was filled with insightful sessions led by Microsoft
professionals.
A highlight of the visit was the much-anticipated announcement of
the AI Innovation Challenge 2024 winners. The competition saw
29 talented teams showcasing their creative ideas, with the
selection process conducted by Microsoft’s industry experts. The
winning teams were felicitated at the Microsoft office, making it a
proud and joyous occasion for everyone present.

The winners received prizes worth $850, a recognition of their hard
work, ingenuity, and commitment to innovation.

We are thrilled to have hosted the NEXTGENTECH 2.0:
Igniting Full Stack Web Development workshop at St.
Joseph’s College of Engineering on January 2nd and 3rd,
2025.A huge shoutout to Mr. PRAABINDH PRADEEP P,
a Full Stack Engineer at Hinge Health Inc., for sharing his
expertise in MERN Stack, live deployment, CI/CD
practices, and system design. His in-depth knowledge
and hands-on approach provided our students with
invaluable insights into full-stack web development and
beyond.The event was a fantastic opportunity for
participants to dive deep into modern technologies and
gain practical exposure, setting a solid foundation for
their tech journeys ahead.
The "Spark" program at St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions on
January 3, 2025, conducted by AIML PEP Centre which inspired
students to embrace the future of Generative AI. Held at Hazel
Hall, the event bridged academics and real-world AI applications,
focusing on entrepreneurship, research, and career growth.
Mr. Godwin Josh, Cofounder of Altrosyn Technologies,
captivated the audience with insights on leveraging AI for success,
sharing practical examples and motivating students to innovate.
Participants explored AI-driven opportunities, gained practical
knowledge, and connected with industry leaders. The event left
attendees energized to pursue their dreams in the AI-powered
world.
