The Department of Electronics and Communication

Engineering (ECE) at St. Joseph’s Institute of

Technology successfully organized a seminar on
"The Startup Era: Ways to Begin Yours" on March 20,

2025. The event, exclusively designed for
Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) students,

took place at AV Hall - II from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Dr. K. Shree Jayaram, Vice President of Maher’s
Institution Innovation Council, was the esteemed

speaker for the session.

The seminar focused on the fundamentals of startups, key strategies for
business growth, and essential entrepreneurial skills. Dr. Jayaram shared

valuable insights on innovation, funding opportunities, and overcoming

challenges in the startup ecosystem. The interactive session allowed students
to engage with industry perspectives and gain clarity on startup development.

Attendees were highly enthusiastic
about learning practical approaches to

entrepreneurship. The event

emphasized the institution’s
commitment to fostering an

entrepreneurial mindset among

students. The seminar concluded with
an engaging Q&A session, leaving

students motivated to explore their
startup aspirations.
