The Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering (ECE) at
St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology
organized an industrial visit to NLC
India Limited, Neyveli, for third-year
students
. The visit was scheduled for three different batches: ECE A on March 18, ECE B
on March 19, and ECE C on March 20, 2025. NLC India Limited, a leading public
sector enterprise in the power and mining sector, provided students with
valuable exposure to thermal and renewable energy production. The visit aimed
to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial applications in
the field of energy and electronics. Students had the opportunity to interact
with industry professionals and understand the working of power plants, mining
operations, and clean energy initiatives.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at
St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, Chennai,
organized a two-day Student Workshop on
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) from 27th to
28th March 2025. The event, attended by
3rd-year students (Batch 2022-2026), was
conducted by Sai NDT, emphasizing practical
learning and skill enhancement in NDT
techniques.
