VISIT
On 6th September 2024, third-year students from the Department of Artificial
Intelligence and Data Science at St. Joseph's Institute of Technology visited the
National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT). The visit highlighted the
applications of AI and Data Science in ocean research, including ocean data
analysis, marine resource management, and the use of AI-powered Autonomous
Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for deep-sea exploration. The students gained
valuable insights into how technology is transforming oceanography, thanks to
the informative experience provided by NIOT.
