Mr. D. Suresh, Assistant Professor from the Department of Electronics and Communication
Engineering, has successfully participated in the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Faculty
Development Program. The program, titled "Recent Trends in Power Engineering and Electric
1 Vehicle Technologies," was conducted by the Chennai Institute of Technology from 21st to
26th October 2024. This FDP provided valuable insights into emerging trends in power
engineering and advancements in electric vehicle technologies, equipping participants with
industry-relevant knowledge.

Dr. A. Maria Christina Blessy, Assistant Professor from the Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering, actively participated in a Faculty Development Program (FDP)
titled "Next-Generation Telecommunications - Advancements, Challenges, and Future
2 Prospects." The program was conducted in physical mode from November 25 to November

30, 2024, at the Department of Electronics Engineering, MIT Campus, Anna University. The
FDP focused on emerging trends, challenges, and innovations in the field of
telecommunications.

Ms.A.Jemima Havila Catherine, Assistant Professor from the Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering, actively participated in a Faculty Development Program (FDP)
titled "Next-Generation Telecommunications - Advancements, Challenges, and Future
3 Prospects." The program was conducted in physical mode from November 25 to November

30, 2024, at the Department of Electronics Engineering, MIT Campus, Anna University. The
FDP focused on emerging trends, challenges, and innovations in the field of
telecommunications.

4 Dr.SENTHILNAYAKI from IT Dept has successfully completed the course “Decision Trees using
Python” on November 27, 2024 in Infosys SpringBoard

5 Mr. G R Abijith from IT Dept has published patent on “Automated Hanging Cable Rescue With
Real-Time Gps Monitoring And Alerts For Landslide Areas”.
