CONDUCTS A THREE DAYS
WORKSHOP ON DISCRETE
MATHEMATICS
Three-day workshop on Discrete Mathematics for
Modern Computing and Engineering concluded at
St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology, OMR, Chennai,
with 75 participants including research scholars
from various institutions. Organized by the
Department of Mathematics and funded by the Dr.
R. Balakrishnan Endowment Trust and The Indian
Mathematics Consortium, the event ran from
March 16 to 18, 2026.
The program opened with an inaugural session and welcome address, followed by Dr.
J. Baskar Babujee’s talk on “Graph Techniques for Cyber Security.” Subsequent
sessions included Dr. R. Sundareswaran’s lecture on “Networks Stability using Graph
Theoretic Parameters” and Dr. Shalu M.A.’s presentation on “Discrete Mathematical
Modelling.”
