The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data
Science, St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology (SJIT),
observed World Environment Day 2026 with a strong
commitment to environmental sustainability and a
greener future. Faculty members and staff
enthusiastically participated in a tree plantation
initiative, demonstrating their responsibility toward
preserving and protecting the environment. Each
sapling planted symbolizes a step toward a cleaner,
healthier, and more sustainable future. The event
highlighted the importance of collective action in
nurturing nature and fostering environmental
awareness for the benefit of future generations.
