Chemistry has published a research patent entitled “Silver-

Alginate Nanoparticle-Based Packaging for Extended Shelf

Life of Perishable Goods” dated 13.02.26

2 Dr T. Ezhilarasu, Assistant Professor, from the Department of
Chemistry, has delivered a lecture in “Workshop on

Interpretation of Instrumental Methods” organized by

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in

association with Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of

Technology, Chennai

3 Dr. Senthil Murugan M from from dept of ECE was honored
with a Certificate of Appreciation by Jeppiaar Institute of

Technology for his active participation in a six-day Faculty

Development Programme. The event was conducted from

February 2, 2026, to February 7, 2026, bringing together

educators committed to academic excellence.

4 Dr. Prathap Singh S from the Department of Mechanical
Engineering successfully completed a rigorous six-day

Faculty Development Program. The program, titled

"Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing," was hosted by

the Toc H Institute of Science & Technology and took place

from February 2nd to February 7th, 2026.

5 D. Murali, Assistant Professor in the Department of
Mechanical Engineering, has filed a patent for a

groundbreaking "Soft Robotic Actuator with

Pneumatic Artificial Muscles and Variable Stiffness".
