15 Dr. Narendiran S of St. Joseph's Institute of Technology, Chennai,
served as Chairperson for the national seminar “Beyond Borders:
Cultural Studies Approaches to Gender Equality and Reduced
Inequalities.” The event was hosted by the Department of English
at SRM Institute of Science and Technology on January 29, 2026.
His leadership contributed significantly to this important
interdisciplinary dialogue.
16 Dr. Sri Varshni M. presented a paper titled “Cooking with Care:
Queer Kinship, Food Justice, and the Comfort of the Roasting Tin”
at the international conference “Food, Culture and Narrative in
South Asia and Beyond.” The conference was organized by the
Department of Language and Literature, Adamas University,
Kolkata on January 15–16, 2026, and was sponsored by ICSSR –
Eastern Regional Centre. The presentation contributed valuable
interdisciplinary insights into culture, identity, and social
narratives.
17 Dr. D Arthur Jebastine Sunderraj of the Mechanical Department
successfully presented a research paper titled "A Framework for
Quantum-Secured Next-Generation Communication Networks
Using Quantum Cryptography". The presentation took place at the
4th International Conference on Intelligent Data Communication
Technologies and Internet of Things (IDCIoT-2026). This
international event was organized by the Jawaharlal College of
Engineering and Technology in Ottapalam, Kerala, India, and was
held from February 4th to 6th, 2026.
