Placement Day Highlights

St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions, OMR, Chennai successfully organized
CONQUISTA 2026 on 11 April 2026 to distribute placement offers to the

graduating 2026 batch. The event was presided over by Chairman Dr. Babu
Manoharan, with esteemed Chief Guests Mr. Mohanbabu Balachandran

(Technology Head & Vice President, Rocket India) and Mr. Prasath P (Director –
Head of Campus Relations, HCL Tech). Principals, deans, heads of departments,
faculty members, and students actively participated.

The Annual Report for the academic year 2025–2026 was presented,

showcasing various training initiatives including foreign language
programs, along with notable student achievements in hackathons,

innovative projects, competitions, certifications, and placement
accomplishments.

The Chief Guests delivered insightful addresses, emphasizing the
importance of career commitment, building a strong foundation during

the first five years, understanding opportunities in Global Capability
Centers (GCCs), and maintaining gratitude along with a healthy work–life

balance.

A remarkable 1450 placement offers were distributed during the event,
with the highest salary package reaching ₹47 LPA, reflecting the strong

placement performance of the institution and the success of its
students in securing positions in leading companies.

Outstanding students were recognized and honored, including Best
Outgoing Students from each department (UG & PG), along with achievers

from specialized training programs such as HOPE (House of Programming
Expertise) and PEP (Placement Empowerment Programme – Software &

Hardware).

The celebration also featured vibrant cultural performances by second-
year students, adding energy and enthusiasm to the occasion.
The event concluded on a celebratory note, with students being

congratulated for their achievements and encouraged to excel in their
professional careers ahead.
