The Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering, Kongu
Engineering College, organized a Six Days
Faculty Development Program titled
“Advancement in Antenna Technologies for
Next Generation Wireless Communications and
Bio-EM Applications.” As part of the program,
an invited expert session was delivered by Dr.
Kangeyan Kaliyagopal, Assistant Professor,
from dept of ECE. The session was held on 18
December 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. He
presented an insightful lecture on the topic
“Implantable Antennas for Wireless Medical
Telemetry Services.” The talk highlighted
recent advancements in antenna design for
biomedical and healthcare applications.
