Technology emerged victorious in the prest igious Binary Clash
360: Boot | Hack | CTF cybers curity competition. The winning
t am, named "Tamil CTF", cons sted of Karthick D and
Shymalavannan G, bot in their third year of study. The event
was conduct d on 7t and 8th Ma y 2025 and jointly organized
by t e Cyber Security Centre at IIT Ma dras and IIITDM
Kancheepuram, in partnership with Protectt.ai, DSCI, and Tally.

The t am won a grand cas prize of ₹2.5 lakh, along with an interns ip

opportunity offering a st end of up to ₹15,000 per month. This national-level

event t st d part ipants' sk ills in ethical hacking, threat analysis and s cure

coding t rough int nse Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges The st udents

demonstrat d outst nding technical sk ills critical thinking, and teamwork under

pressure.

The management and faculty extended their heartfelt congratulations to the

t am for bringing laurels to the inst itution. This victory not only highlights the

t lent and pot nt l of St Jos ph’s students in cybersecurity but also reflects the
