D E V E L O P M E N T C L U B
The Entrepreneurship Development Club
(EDC) of St. Joseph’s Institute of
Technology, in association with the
Department of Computer Science and
Engineering, organized an industrial
exposure visit to Vel Tech Technology
Incubator (Vel Tech TBI), Chennai, on
March 5, 2025. A total of 25 students from
II and III year EDC, accompanied by two
faculty members,Mr Janagiraman and Mrs
Shankar shalini participated in this visit to
gain firsthand exposure to the startup
ecosystem and incubation facilities.
The visit provided students with insights into the role of technology
incubators in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, covering key
aspects such as mentorship, funding, product development, and
business model strategies.
