Programme
P r o g r a m m e
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association
with the Institution of Engineers (India) & SUPRAJA Technologies,
organized a 3-Day Industry-Based Faculty Development Program on
Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking for SJIT & SJCE Faculty Members
from 26.02.2025 to 28.02.2025 at the CSE Lab Block. The resource
persons for the program were Mr. Krishna and Mr. Kumar, Security
Analysts from Supraja Technologies, Vijayawada. The program was
convened by Dr. J. Dafni Rose, Professor & Head, Department of CSE,
with Dr. N. Mythili, Professor, Dr. D. Menaga, Associate Professor, and
Mrs. M. Ramya, Assistant Professor, serving as faculty coordinators.
The primary objective of this 3-day hands-on session was to equip
faculty members with foundational and practical knowledge in Cyber
Security and Ethical Hacking. Through interactive sessions and real-
world ethical hacking scenarios, participants explored critical aspects
of securing digital systems, networks, and applications, enabling them
to effectively teach and mentor students in cybersecurity, thereby
fostering a cybersecurity-aware academic environment.
