A team of second-year ECE

students from Electronics and

Communication Engineering
made the institution proud by

winning the Special Mention

Award (Best Business Pitch) at

Nexathon’25, a 24-hour national-

level hackathon.
The event was held on April 5, 2025, at KCG College of Technology,

Chennai. Competing under the IoT Domain category, the team secured

a cash prize of Rs. 3,000 for their outstanding performance. Their
innovative project titled "Automated Smart IV Drip Monitoring for

Enhanced Patient Care" impressed the jury with its practical

application and business potential. The winning team included

Balachandhar D, Deepak Kumaran A, and Divya Lakshmi, all from the

second year ECE department.

prestigious Startup Spark Grand
Challenge 2025.

The event was organized by Rajalakshmi Engineering College on

April 5, 2025. The winning team presented a project titled "Providing

B2B Model for Unicorn Companies", which impressed the judges with

its innovative and scalable business concept. The team was awarded
a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 for their outstanding performance. The

members of the team included Vimalan S, Vasanth S, Sanjay T,

Walter Wiwin J, and R. Joel Meshach, all from the second year of ECE.
