On March 27, 2025, the Machine Learning Club hosted an event titled
"Code to Insight: Data Science Competition" from 11:40 AM to 12:20 PM
in Room No. 67, with 40 participants in attendance. Coordinated by Dr. N.
Mythili, Mr. V. Sabaresan, and Mrs. Sangeetha, the competition aimed to
provide participants with a practical experience in leveraging machine
learning to derive insights from real-world datasets across healthcare,
finance, and social media analytics domains. Teams applied data science
techniques such as exploratory data analysis (EDA), data visualization,
statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms to develop models
for prediction and insight extraction. The event encouraged participants
to engage in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and predictive
modeling to uncover significant trends and insights.
